Johnny is playing on the church softball team right now, so my kids are enjoying running wild at the games! Johnny below, #9.

Abilene Zoo
Now that school is out, we can travel during the week on my days off. So we left Thursday and spent time with grandparents. Now, the Abilene zoo is limited, I know...but perfect if you only care to spend 2 hours and $6 at the zoo.
You have to feed the giraffe from the bridge and watch his gross, long tongue sweep across trying to get his food. Katie is loving every minute of it.
Kade liked looking at smaller animals, like the ducks. Here Kade is holding the animal food, at this point he still thinks the food is for him. Notice Katie is missing her front teeth now!
Katie had her first sleepover with her friend, Bailie (she was in Katie's class this year and lives right behind us).
Katie and Bailie stayed up late and slept in the giraffe tent in the living room. Katie kept saying "I can't believe Bailie is staying the night with me." Here the girls are doing crafts.
